İtalya Sardinya ESC Gönüllü Hizmeti 01/05/2023 to 31/10/2023 EVS ESC European Solidarity Corps projesinde Avrupa Dayanışma Programı faaliyetinde bulunacak katılımcılar aranmaktadır!
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
In line with the European Youth Strategy, the general aim of the project is to support youth participation, empowerment, social and civic engagement of young people by promoting and facilitating connections, relations and exchange of experience between young volunteers from different European Countries. The project will involve 4 young volunteers in intercultural and intergenerational activities to strengthen the social inclusion of people with fewer opportunities through non-formal education methods. The activities will take place in municipalities located in the rural area of Marmilla (Sardinia). In particular, the project aims to: – strengthen social inclusion of disadvantaged people through educational, relational and therapeutic support; – promote volunteering and solidarity in support of mental health and psychophysical wellbeing; – increase civic engagement, empowerment, participation and active citizenship of young people with fewer opportunities.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
Volunteers will be accommodated in a private house, provided with double or single rooms and shared spaces (kitchen, living room and bathroom). Volunteers will be given a monthly contribution of 300,00 € (pocket money + food money) to cover the expenses related to board and extra costs. Travel costs will be reimbursed depending on the EU distance band.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
General Online Training, Linguistic support, Pre-departure training, On-arrival training, Mid-term evaluation, Annual European Solidarity Corps events. Non formal training on soft skills, conflict management, team building and problem solving. Other trainings related to the project activities.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
We are looking for volunteers aged 20-30. They should be open-minded, have good social skills, emphatic attitude, positive energy, flexibility, adaptability, motivation to learn from intercultural experiences and challenges, supporting each other and cooperating in behalf of a common purpose.
