CPMGA is an institution with 40 years of work in the city of El Alto. Our mission is to achieve a more inclusive and equitable society for women, with institutional work that seeks a return to the territory, women’s rights, democracy and from a non-hegemonic feminist perspective, oriented towards joint building and with a wide approach to women’s dialogues. Join us at our office in El Alto! You will support the implementation of the organisation’s cyber security, you will support activities in the basic use of office skills, as well as the implementation technical support in systems for all technical and administrative staff. By the end of your experience you will be familiar with the use of social media for youth advocacy, as well as training for women and youth.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
You will have the opportunity to live with other people but with individual bedroom. The accommodation costs and utility bills will be covered by the organization and a phone card will be provided. The house will be located in La Paz. You will receive a monthly allowance of 600€ for your personal expenses, including food and local transport. You will also be covered with a health insurance (Henner).
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
You will receive training which will cover topics such as: induction to CPMGA induction to the European Solidarity Corps, responsibilities and rights of the organisations and of the volunteer, Youthpass, Henner insurance and SHEA. In addition, you will be trained more specifically in feminist leadership and communication for transformation. In the end of your volunteering, you will know how to work in a multidisciplinary team, both on the field and in the office.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
We are looking for a person eager to learn and work in a team and able to adapt to the context. Basic knowledge and any experience in Systems, technical support, digital tools, IT security, as well as Spanish language skills, will be an asset. If you are migrant, live in rural areas, have limited economic support or any other don´t hesitate to sign up, this opportunity is for everyone!
